KATC’s Carrie Underwood Contest Rules

The Contest:

        Viewers will enter the contest by filling out an entry form that can be found thru the Carrie Underwood link on katc.com.  On November 2-6, during KATC’s 10pm newscasts, a new winner of a pair of tickets to the Carrie Underwood Concert Apr 29 in the Cajundome will be announced.  Winners chosen by random drawing.  5 winners in all.  Two tickets per winner.  Deadline to enter is Nov 6 at 5pm.

The Prize Value:

~$100       

The Rules:

No purchase necessary to enter.

Must be 18 or older.

Contest is void where prohibited by law.

One entry per household.  One winner per household.  Previous winners are ineligible.  Any violation results in forfeiture of prize and a new winner will be drawn.

Winners will be notified by phone.  Should winner be unreachable by 10am Wed Oct 17, that winner will forfeit prize and a new winner will be drawn.  Winner has until 5pm Oct 17th to pick up prize at the KATC Studios at 1103 Eraste Landry Road, Lafayette, LA 70506.

Prize will NOT be mailed to winner.  Winner must provide valid Louisiana Driver’s License or other acceptable form of ID in order to claim prize.

Odds of winning dependent upon number of entries.

Prize will be accepted as awarded.  Should prize become unavailable, a prize of equal value will be awarded.

KATC reserves the right to restrict prize only to persons whose primary residence is within a 70 mile radius of Lafayette, LA.

Employees of KATC TV3 and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the immediate family and household members of each are not eligible.

Entrants grant KATC Television permission to use their name and likeness on television, the internet, and in any media advertising the contest.

KATC TV3 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor of the contest is KATC Television.  Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

Contest entrants agree to abide by rules and the decisions of the contest sponsors, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Winner responsible for all taxes.

KATC reserves the right to change or amend the rules at any time.
